Joseph Yoo

Dr. Joseph Yoo’s path in dentistry reflects years of dedication, advanced training, and a deep commitment to patient care. Originally from California, he earned his bachelor’s degree in Molecular and Cell Biology from the University of California, Berkeley before going on to receive his Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree from the University of Michigan School of Dentistry.
After dental school, Dr. Yoo returned to California to complete a General Practice Residency at Jerry Pettis Memorial Veterans Hospital in Loma Linda, where he strengthened his clinical skills and passion for comprehensive patient care. Over the next 14 years, he practiced as a general dentist in both California and Washington, serving in several leadership roles, including Dental Director at Seattle Indian Health Board and Assistant Dental Director at International Community Health Services. He also helped train future dentists as Clinical Director of an Advanced Education in General Dentistry residency program.
Motivated by a strong passion for endodontics, Dr. Yoo pursued specialty training at the University of Alabama at Birmingham, where he completed his postgraduate residency and earned a Certificate in Endodontics. He later moved to Georgia with his family, where he continues to provide compassionate, high-quality endodontic care to his patients.
Dr. Yoo is a proud member of the American Association of Endodontics and remains committed to staying current with the latest advancements in his field. Known for his calm approach, clinical excellence, and genuine care for his patients, Dr. Yoo is dedicated to making every patient feel comfortable and confident throughout their treatment experience.

- Outside of dentistry, Dr. Yoo is a big fan of classical music — his favorite singer is the legendary Elvis Presley. Whether it’s “Can’t Help Falling in Love” or “Suspicious Minds,” Elvis remains a longtime favorite on Dr. Yoo’s playlist.
